PacMan

This interactive sculpture was created on commission for @ozzysbar @davidmarozz @ozzy.barmen Ozzy and David, specially conceived for their new bar in Valletta. The piece, measuring 60 x 85 cm, represents a head inspired by voodoo symbolism, reinterpreted through a contemporary and handcrafted approach.

The base structure is built in wood, then shaped with a mixture of clay and cardboard to create volume and an organic presence. The surface is carefully covered in synthetic leather, giving it a distinctive tactile and visual character.

The mouth features handwoven macramé details, adding a delicate textile contrast. The teeth are made of polished glass and are carefully embedded, creating a unique play of light, while the eyes, handmade in ceramic, become the focal point of the piece.

Due to its dimensions, materials, and process, this is a truly unique artwork where every element has been crafted with intention and attention to detail. A project that was especially engaging, both for its experimental nature and its interactive dimension.
